Why I Decided To Have a Microwedding
I always imagined myself getting married in the mountains or somewhere outdoors but being in Indiana didn’t give me many options for mountain views.
So here I found myself searching “Elopements In The Mountains”. I stubbled upon a photographer name Tyler Rye. Once I saw his work, I knew for fact that he had to do my wedding no matter what. I knew it would be a hard pitch to my husband but followed through with it anyway. It really started with a photo. I based my entire wedding and location on my photographer. I didn’t care if it was just us two or a few family memembers.
When it came down to it our guess list went from 50 to 25. We ended up just having our parents, siblings, and closest friends (that could make it).
Me and my husband were in a middle of custody battle. Things were ugly financially and to be honest we really didn’t have it like that. We knew one day after we were married we wanted to buy a home. So that meant every penny needed to be saved.
